Southeastern Massachusetts is about to be overrun with knitters. From Thursday, September 12th to Sunday, September 15th knitters from half a dozen states will be stitching their way from the South Shore to Cape Cod to participate in the area’s first ever “Cape and South Shore Yarn Haul.” The event will reward knitters for visiting as many of the nine participating yarns shops as possible. What rewards? Every participating Yarn Hauler will receive a custom-designed Cape and South Shore Yarn Haul project bag (one project per Hauler, please). In addition, Yarn Haulers who visit at least seven shops will be eligible to win baskets overflowing with yarn and other goodies, provided by over 25 different companies who have agreed to help sponsor the Yarn Haul. Yarn Haulers visiting all nine participating shops will be eligible to win the “Grand Prize” basket, which is so big we don’t even have room to describe it!
And there’s more! In addition to the event prizes, each participating shop will be providing their own special inducements for Yarn Haul participants to stop in, including sales on yarn and free patterns.
If ever there was a reason to head to the Cape and South Shore and fill your car with yarn, this is it!
