Beginning in February, 2020, we will offer our new six-month installment of Chatham Yarn Month-by-Month offerings. During the past year we featured important moments in Chatham’s history, transforming important events such as The Battle of Chatham Harbor and the creation of The Monomoy Theater into yarn. For our upcoming cycle, we will focus on the amazing collection of authors who currently call Chatham home, or who once lived in Chatham, including Lisa Genova, Bernard Cornwell and Joseph C. Lincoln.
The first Chatham author we will immortalize in yarn is one of our favorites (who is also a knitter) is Anne LeClair. Anne’s books include “The Orchid Sister,” “The Halo Effect” and “The Law of Bound Hearts.” Just wait until you see what we do with “The Lavender Hour.”
In addition to the magnificent yarn, we will continue to provide Yarn of the Month participants with knitting and crochet patterns designed to maximize the colors and/or textures of each new offering, together with a greeting card prepared by a local artist, a description of the Chatham icon being cast in yarn, and various knitting-related accessories. And everything shipped for free.
We have provided the monthly offerings to the members of our Chatham Yarn Month-by-Month Club at a discount, together with appropriate knitting and crochet patterns, a greeting card featuring a photograph of the Chatham image that was the inspiration for dyeing the yarn, and an assortment of knitting tools and accessories to show our appreciation. We have also included free shipping. To date, we have had nearly 100 different knitters join the Chatham Yarn of the Month Club.
The cost for each monthly offering (plus patterns, card, knitting accessories, etc. ) is $46.50 per month. However, if you would like to receive all six offerings, we will provide a 15% discount, which reduces the cost to $39.50. We will also include free shipping. Give us a call in the shop at 508-348-5605, or send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, if you would like to participate.
